The Tool Room Manager will lead the design, engineering, and fabrication operations of a specialized tool room supporting ABB's St. Louis stamping plants for the motor lamination and parts departments. In this role, you will oversee the creation and maintenance of carbide progressive stamping lamination dies, as well as associated metal components used in the manufacture of electrical motors. You will manage a team of tool and die makers and 1 tool and die designer, direct all tool room operations, troubleshoot complex stamping die processes, manage capital investments, and ensure adherence to standardized work procedures and quality standards.
