General Summary: Manages all aspects of the production departments and coordinates the work flow to, through, and out of these departments while managing costs in a safe and secure manner. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Oversees all aspects of production to secure levels of quality and performance. Utilizes supervisors and team leads to ensure proper training is provided to employees on processes, SOPs, equipment and safety. Maintains the production department budgets including, but not limited, to labor, supplies, consumables, spoilage and equipment cost. Controls costs and production metrics. Works with other department managers to resolve interdepartmental issues. Submits daily reports on department progress.…
