What You’ll Do As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll work alongside veterinarians and other veterinary team members to provide excellent patient care and help keep daily hospital operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: Safely restraining pets during examinations, treatments, and procedures. Triaging incoming patients and communicating important observations to the veterinary team. Collecting and analyzing laboratory samples and assisting with diagnostic testing. Supporting diagnostic imaging, including preparing and processing radiographs. Providing nursing care for hospitalized patients with varying medical needs and stability levels. Administering medications as directed by the veterinary team.…
