About this job

What You’ll Do As a veterinary kennel technician, you’ll play an important role in the daily care and comfort of hospitalized patients and boarding pets. You’ll work closely with veterinary assistants and doctors to make sure every animal receives attentive, compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include: Feeding, watering, walking, bathing, and caring for hospitalized and boarding animals Cleaning kennels, treatment areas, equipment, and other veterinary spaces Administering medications as directed after appropriate training Monitoring appetite, behavior, medications, and overall condition and documenting observations accurately Recognizing and communicating changes or abnormal conditions to the veterinary team Providing post-operative care and assisting with hospitalized patients…
