What You’ll Do As a Veterinarian Technician, you’ll support our doctors and veterinary team throughout the patient care process. Responsibilities may include: Safely restraining veterinary patients using low-stress handling techniques Triaging incoming patients and supporting efficient hospital flow Collecting and processing blood, urine, fecal, and skin samples Setting up and processing laboratory tests Obtaining accurate medical histories and maintaining veterinary medical records Assisting with diagnostic imaging and positioning patients for radiographs Dental radiograph experience is a plus Providing nursing care and monitoring hospitalized veterinary patients Administering medications as directed by the veterinary team Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with veterinary…
