About this job
We are looking for experienced Court Reporters to work on a contract basis to visit client sites in their local area. You will use specialized equipment to create an accurate record of proceedings in numerous places including legal courts, non-profit board rooms, and depositions. We are very flexible and looking for candidates that can work anywhere from a few jobs a month to 2-3 per week. Location: IN-PERSON - client sites in your local area Takes down the proceeding using Machine Shorthand, Voice, or Digital capture Capture verbatim proceedings of courts, meetings, depositions, and hearings Administer oaths and participate in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings Transport, set up, and operate equipment to capture the record accurately Perform advance preparation for…
