Make no mistake, this is a software engineering role first. You will spend your days writing code and building tooling, not managing spreadsheets. You will build AI tooling that optimizes AWS spend across our development and product estate, one of the largest ISV footprints on AWS. The work goes well beyond detecting and reporting cost. You will build tooling that plugs directly into the software development lifecycle to protect against cost overruns before they happen, and AI-driven automation that can auto-resolve cost issues without waiting on a human to notice. The impact is measured in engineering velocity, not just dollars.
