The Lead Sterile Processing Technician position reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Reports to Sterile Processing Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating activities of personnel engaged in cleaning, sterilizing, assembling and distributing of sterilized instruments and equipment upon direction of the Supervisor. Assists Sterile Processing Technicians to help ensure that all policies and procedures are followed, and assists Supervisor with annual staff evaluations.
