Schedule is determined based on the course need and the clinical specialty for each 8-week session Typically, clinical instructors are scheduled for 3-4 consecutive 12-hour shifts, which occur over a period of 1-2 weeks each session Maternal-OB Nursing: Students will be demonstrating nursing skills and procedures in an inpatient healthcare center. This course focuses on family-centered approaches to maternal/newborn care and incorporates health promotion and wellness issues. The childbearing cycle, including normal experience, high-risk factors, complications, and alterations are studied.
