Performs demolition and construction work on various types of ductwork, installs HVAC equipment, fabricates ductwork and ductwork hangers and a wide range of custom and specialty items not available from vendors. Working from drawings and sketches, performs layout work and duplicates samples as required.b Responsibilities • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. • Fabricates custom-made strainers using perforated steel, screening and expanded metal. • Works with plastic materials such as Plexiglass and Lexan and with all types of metals such as hot and cold-rolled steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and magnesium as well as exotic metals such as tantalum, copper, monel and hastelloy.…
