The Infection Preventionist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Performs clinical, educational and research responsibilities within the Infection Prevention Department, working in collaboration with and reporting to the Manager and the Medical Directors of Healthcare Epidemiology and Infection Prevention (HEIP) to reduce the risk of healthcare associated infection and to ensure the safety and health of all patients, visitors and personnel. Responsibilities: Acts as a resource for problem solving issues related to infection prevention. Completes 24/7 on call assignments as scheduled.…
