The Payroll Manager ensures payroll tax compliance and accurate reporting across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. The role combines technical analysis, documentation, collaboration, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Tax Reporting and Payments; Review and reconcile payroll tax payments and filings, including W-2s, W-2c’s, and quarterly/annual returns). Analyze payroll tax data, perform calculations, and provide insights to management for decision-making Design, document, and review payroll tax procedures to maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation Research and resolve payroll tax discrepancies, notices, or compliance issues for multi-state entities Work closely with payroll, HR, and accounting teams to ensure accurate employee data and tax reporting Assist…
