The SVP, Legal Entity Controller plays a crucial role in our finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This position involves overseeing financial processes, controls, and reporting for various Cantor entities, including Broker-Dealers and SPACs. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate accounting and provide financial support for new transactions and entity structure changes. Provide legal entity controller and financial support for Cantor entities under US GAAP. Liaise with various teams, including SEC reporting, corporate accounting, and regulatory reporting, to ensure proper accounting practices. Lead and provide financial advisory support for new and existing transactions, guiding entity structure changes.…
