Java Developer – Full Stack Location: Luleå, Sweden Working method: Partial Remote Job type: Consultant Start date: 1 November 2026 End date: 31 October 2029 About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join an agile delivery team working within a business-critical import-related application area. The role involves both backend and frontend development, contributing to the continued development and maintenance of enterprise applications within an agile environment. The consultant will work closely with developers, business stakeholders and other technical specialists to design, develop, test and deliver high-quality software solutions. The assignment requires the consultant to be able to work on site in Luleå at least one day per week, with some weeks requiring several days on site. Flexibility regarding on-site presence is therefore important. The assignment is subject to security classification, which must be completed before the start date. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java EE. Perform both backend and frontend development. Develop modern frontend solutions using Angular. Design and implement messaging-based solutions using JMS/MQ. Work with message queues and asynchronous communication. Participate in an agile development team. Develop, test and maintain high-quality software. Collaborate with developers, architects and business stakeholders. Contribute to technical design and implementation decisions. Write and maintain automated unit tests. Use Git for source control and collaborative development. Required Qualifications Good spoken and written Swedish and English. Competency Level 3. At least 4 years of professional experience with Java EE. At least 1 year of experience using the JMS API, together with technologies such as: ActiveMQ IBM MQ RabbitMQ At least 4 years of frontend development experience with Angular. Experience working with modern/latest Angular versions, including Angular 20 or later. Preferred Qualifications Experience with customs-related systems or regulatory business processes. Experience developing system support for import processes. Strong experience with Git. Experience with JMS and message queues/MQ. Experience with JBoss or WildFly application servers. Experience developing automated unit tests using JUnit. Experience working in agile development teams. Experience with full-stack Java development. Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Flexible regarding on-site work in Luleå.
