Bid Manager

We are currently looking for a Bid Manager to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and contribute to exciting projects across the VARD value chain. Ready to make an impact at VARD? Duties and responsibilities Lead and coordinate the bid process for assigned sales projects. Prepare and review cost calculations and commercial proposals. Develop and review technical proposals for customers. Maintain and improve cost estimation tools, routines and databases. Conduct cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost optimization. Perform risk assessments and maintain risk registers throughout the sales process. Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to clarify project scope and requirements. Facilitate project handover from Sales to Project Execution. Support the continuous development of estimating methodologies and best practices Qualifications Relevant higher education, or equivalent experience. Good written and spoken English and Norwegian skills. Knowledge of vessel interiors, HVAC and piping systems. Understanding of shipbuilding processes and the maritime industry. Experience with cost estimation, commercial analysis or bid management is an advantage. Proven experience in securing contracts and delivering successful bids is considered a plus. Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines. Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
