Position Description HGV Mechanic is responsible for carrying out the repair, maintenance and inspection of vehicles & plant and equipment in accordance with legislation guidelines, policies and procedures and manufacturer recommendations. Key Responsibilities Maintenance up-keep and repair of HGV & LGV vehicles & equipment. General Application Certification of hoists and cranes. To complete work to a high standard in accordance with legislation guidelines, policies and procedures and report all defects to Lead Mechanic and/or Fleet Supervisor. To complete all work safely and contribute positively to the development of the team and self.
