Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles. Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment. Inspect vehicles and identify defects or potential issues before they affect vehicle operation. Carry out repairs to engines, gearboxes, braking systems, suspension, steering and other mechanical components. Maintain and repair hydraulic systems and associated equipment where required. Complete scheduled maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations and company procedures. Prepare vehicles for CVRT testing and ensure defects are rectified promptly. Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation. Respond to breakdowns and assist with roadside repairs when required.…
