The Quality Assurance Technician performs quality assurance activities for incoming product, manufactured product, and tooling. The technician conducts inspections and audits, documents results, supports nonconformance and corrective-action processes, and partners with Production, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and Shipping and Receiving to resolve quality issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Qualify first-piece fabrication product and perform random quality checks as indicated by the quality specifications; exercise authority to stop production when needed to correct quality problems Complete all phases of first article approval processes (FAIR’s), as required Utilize the vision system inspection machines and other testing equipment as needed Complete routine auditing and inspection of shop…
