This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, position located at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb. The Cytology Processing Technician reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Cytology Processing Technician Performs all aspects of pre-analytic workflow appropriate for the Cytopathology laboratory section to ensure orders are entered correctly, specimens collected are appropriate for the test ordered and are processed in accordance with approved specimen preparation techniques.…
