R&D Technician

About this job

The R&D Technician will perform the activities necessary to support process development efforts in a laboratory and pilot plant environment. The activities will focus mainly on new product synthesis of Organo-Silane or Organo-Metallic compounds which will include construction of experimental equipment and routine analytical analysis of process and product samples. Responsibilities and duties include: Manufacturing compounds in a laboratory or pilot plant setting Operation of pilot scale chemical reactors, filtration equipment, heater/chillers, gloveboxes and inert gas/liquid handling manifolds as well as packaging solids, liquids and gases. Responsible for safety, environmental protection, productivity, quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Resolve of daily operating issues.…
