Apprentice, Weld Technician

About this job

Must have high school diploma or GED. Enrolled or plans to enroll within the next six months in a post-secondary skilled trades or apprenticeship program created by CBAM. Basic Knowledge of welding and/or Fanuc Controls. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform minor weld technology tasks (minor weld adjustments and spot adjustments). Ability and licensed to operate a forklift. Complete lock out / tag out training Ability to perform 5S and TPM activities. Knowledge of all equipment locations on the plant floor. Demonstrate the proper procedure on locking out equipment. Intermediate knowledge of welding and Fanuc controls. Basic electrical knowledge Ability to replace receptacles, switches, sensors and cord sets.…
