About this job

KIPP Miami seeks an experienced High School Algebra 1 / Geometry Teacher to design and deliver a rigorous, college-preparatory mathematics program. This role teaches both Algebra 1 and Geometry. Algebra 1 is our priority. Many of our Algebra 1 students arrive with significant gaps in foundational math skills. We affirm the limitless potential of every student, and we read those gaps as where instruction has to start, not as a ceiling on what a student can achieve. We need a teacher who can find where the skills broke down, rebuild them, and still hold the grade-level bar. The ideal candidate has a proven record teaching high school mathematics, including Algebra 1, Geometry, and Geometry Honors, and can build pathways that prepare students for Algebra II Honors, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus,…

This is a short summary.
