Staff Software Engineer, App Promotion

About this job

We are seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the App Promotion engineering team. In this role, you will own the engineering roadmap to take Pinterest’s App Install Optimization product from beta to GA, hardening the current alpha/beta experience, closing critical measurement gaps, and ensuring readiness across Ads Manager, backend services, and mobile clients. You will lay the groundwork for future optimizations (App Event Optimization, tROAS, and retargeting) by partnering with Ads Quality, ML, and Measurement teams to build scalable models, robust experimentation, and trustworthy reporting.
