Trane Technologies is currently seeking a Controls Software Test Engineer to join our team in Clarksville, TN. The selected individual will be responsible for preparing, conducting and reporting on the testing of embedded-based software for Trane Commercial HVAC products. What you will do: Analyzing functional requirements, to generate a comprehensive set of test cases. Writing functional test procedures and automated test scripts that provide comprehensive testing of the product requirements. Executing test procedures and automated test scripts as part of formal product testing. Conducting exploratory testing based on detailed knowledge of the product under test. Reporting product issues within the defect tracking system. Verifying product defect fixes.…
