Primary Function of the Position The Staff Software Development Engineer brings a key contribution to a team responsible for the architectural design and implementation of software to support novel electrosurgical systems for surgery being developed by the Sunnyvale Engineering group. Roles and Responsibilities Lead a small team through the technical development of embedded software for electrosurgical devices. Develop software applications for electrosurgical and robotic products for minimally invasive surgery. Develop software and firmware in object-oriented C++, C, Verilog and Python for embedded systems. Develop software to acquire, process, store, and analyze energy data in real-time. Develop software to support manufacturing and test teams. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.…
