Senior Specialist - Environmental, Health & Safety (Research & Development)

About this job

Under the direction of the Research and Development Environment, Health, and Safety (R&D EHS) management, this individual will provide guidance on R&D matters and training to employees and contractors in AbbVie South San Francisco R&D. The individual will communicate and collaborate with local EHS team members and stakeholders to implement and align programs and R&D EHS policies which drive change and build a positive safety culture at our site. This position is responsible for helping the local R&D EHS team with ensuring safety of the employees, assuring a safe working environment, protecting the environment and the property, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the team with regulatory inspections conducted by local agencies.…
