Under moderate supervision, a Development Engineering Technician will perform a variety of tasks, including building, monitoring, controlling, and optimizing chemical and metallurgical processes and unit operations in pilot, production, or laboratory environments. This role will aid engineers in starting up and testing new processes and equipment and performing experiments.
