The Position The Opportunity As a Bioinformatics Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement features for the bioinformatics components and pipelines that are used in Roche Sequencing products. You will be part of a team working in a fast paced environment, developing cutting-edge, distributed, scale-out Next-Generation Sequencing data analysis software to ensure the highest possible software quality for gene sequencing research and disease diagnostics. Work closely with experimental teams to understand their requirements and translate them into functional software, implementing those solutions directly within an existing research code repository. Collaborate with research and algorithm experts, accelerating bioinformatics techniques using GPU hardware.…
