About the Role We're looking for an Android Embedded UI Engineer to build the on-device interface for Verkada's alarm console — a touchscreen device used for real-time security monitoring, alert response, live video streaming, and two-way audio communication. You'll own the UI end-to-end, working at the intersection of software and hardware. This means tight collaboration with the firmware team, a strong instinct for performance on constrained devices, and genuine care for how the product feels to someone using it in a high-stakes moment.
