About this job
Reports to the Supervisor of Mechanical Design. Produce and check CAD drawings of design items, parts, and components of complex equipment, assemblies, steel frames, connections, piping, and pressure parts using knowledge of basic engineering principles, and current manufacturing or fabrication methods and procedures. Provide general directions to designers and drafters as well as outsourced work products. Review drawings in process, checking for integrity of design, and cost effectiveness, considering fabrication and construction requirements. Communicate with fabricators, vendors, construction personnel and other internal or external groups as required. Essential Responsibilities Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for new and edited designs.…
