Job Summary: The Burn Table Operator/ Machine Operator is responsible for safely and accurately cutting materials. The Burn Table Operator will also handle materials, count parts, operate computer programs, and ensure safe and efficient operation of the work area. The position requires cross training on other machines like saws and press brakes. Essential Responsibilities Accurately align torches, load drills and run specific programs to cut steel parts. Ability to accurately read tape measure, and/ or calipers. Good working knowledge of steel grades, thicknesses, fractions and their decimal equivalents Ability to accurately read instructions or press drawings, measures, holds, and positions materials Ability to read and understand parts lists to cut correct number of parts to the required…
