A Day In The Life Assess patient status on admission to the preop area, operating room, and post-op area, and on a continuing basis. Provide safe, therapeutic quality care to patients by utilizing the nursing process and nursing diagnosis in a timely manner. Coordinate nursing interventions to enhance achievement of expected outcomes and ensure readiness for discharge. Document interventions and patient responses. Ensure provision of patient care in an organized and timely manner. Utilize nursing care standards when planning and implementing patient care. Communicate appropriate information regarding patient conditions to surgeons, anesthesia, management, and other staff. Safely carry out physician’s orders correctly and promptly, documenting all activities.…
