BBVA is looking for a GLOBAL BANKER METALS & MINING HEAD for Americas territory, based in NY (USA) The role main tasks are: Strategic Leadership & Business Development Lead the development and execution of the bank’s metals and mining sector strategy for Latin America in coordination with the Global sector head, and the coverage and product teams in different countries. Expand the client portfolio by leveraging existing relationships with major mining companies and onboarding new relationships that feet into the strategy. Provide deep knowledge on market trends, multilateral investment and government entities. Identify and originate high-value advisory and financing transactions (M&A, debt & equity capital markets, structured finance, structured trade finance solutions…
