Vertiv, a fast growing Fortune 500 manufacturing company, is looking for a Buyer to join the materials team at our expanding Ironton, OH plant. The Buyer will serve as the central point of coordination between Purchasing, Planning, and Production, ensuring material is available before it is required on the shop floor. In this role, you will be responsible for: Running CTB daily to validate material availability against the production plan Identifying material gaps, risks, and shortages ahead of build dates Proactively expediting purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers as needed Providing early visibility to Planning and Purchasing on potential constraints Supporting accurate production schedules through real-time material status Reducing last-minute disruptions and escalation…
