Arcadis is seeking a Construction Safety Specialist to work in the NY/NJ area. As a Construction Safety Specialist you will perform technical and administrative duties essential to ensure that contractors conduct activities in compliance with all Federal, State and Local fire and safety regulations and standards to eliminate hazardous practices and conditions, and also ensuring fire safety programs and standards are properly adhered to at the Port Authority and Leaseholder construction sites. Role accountabilities: Review contracts, drawings, and project-related documentation to ensure adherence. Ensure contractors are in compliance with OSHA, FDNY, NYCDOB, Local laws and all applicable regulations. Review contractor Health and Safety Plan submittals.…
