Role Overview: Recess Aides primarily provide general supervision of elementary-aged children during outdoor (or indoor) recess, helping to ensure that recess is a safe, joyful experience for students. Candidates for this position should enjoy engaging with children and have some experience supporting children in school, after/before school, summer camp, and/or daycare settings. Recess Monitor must be all weekdays; hours vary a bit by school, but typically include mid-morning to afternoon hours (10:00am-2:00pm or 11:00am-3:00pm).
