CNC MACHINIST, TOOL & DIE - LEVEL 4/5 The CNC Machinist role here at SpaceX is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of CNC machining operations. This role is tasked with working in close concert with programmers, leads, engineering teams, and machining operations management to increase productivity and optimizing machining programs and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate multi-axis CNC 5-axis mills Set up tools as per program requirements Inspect parts via probing and/or using hand tools to verify dimensions Complete machining operations from CAD, blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions Work with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials Meet expectations for productivity Communicate with shop leadership when production is inhibited Continuously…
