About this job
This position can be based out of our Waterbury, VT location. The inspector will oversee various work elements including excavation, backfilling, compaction, cast-in-place concrete from formwork to reinforcement, installation of precast elements, bridge seats, bearings and joints, bridge rail, drainage, and other incidental items. The inspector will report to the Resident Engineer, and may routinely, or periodically act as their representative, depending on experience. Your Impact Interfacing with contactors and attending meetings. Mentoring or supervising other inspectors, on behalf of resident engineer, or project manager. Complete daily reports, measure and calculate unit price quantities. Coordinate independent material sampling and testing. Monitor maintenance of traffic.…
