Develop and manage forecast for long- and short-range material planning while considering current inventory, obsolescence, lead times, product life cycles and production capacity. KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement and efficiencies. Further develop existing forecast and supply programs to improve current days of inventory and cash cycle while maintaining 100% on time delivery. Improve forecasting tools and procedures through application Microsoft Excel, BAAN, and other software systems. Assist in creation and implementation of shop floor scheduling tools both electronically and visually.…
