Drives a heavy-duty diesel powered truck to which is attached a trailer upon which heavy equipment is hauled. Licenses and Certifications: Class A Commercial Drivers License (minimum) Essential functions and responsibilities: Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines. Driver is often required to operate heavy equipment to load or unload the lowboy. Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects. May service and make necessary adjustments for proper operation of equipment. Make necessary adjustment to equipment as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.…
