The Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Superintendent serves as a key field leader responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) operations on a major transportation infrastructure project. In close collaboration with the MOT Manager, construction teams, subcontractors, and state agencies, this role ensures that all traffic control installations are safe, compliant with MUTCD and GDOT requirements, and delivered efficiently to support uninterrupted project progress. The MOT Superintendent directs field crews, oversees daily traffic control activities, and ensures all lane closures, detours, and traffic shifts are implemented in accordance with approved Traffic Control Plans (TCPs).…
