Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work in our expanding Cardiac Surgery department! This Advanced Practice Provider will provide inpatient care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including daily rounding, clinical assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination on the cardiac surgery step-down unit. No OR responsibility at this time. Schedule: 4-10 hour days or 3 - 13 hour days Call and weekends required - Frequency is to be determined. Essential Functions: Demonstrates clinical expertise and expanded knowledge through patient care activities which may include diagnosis and management of a wide range of health problems.
