Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Pre Op Clinic, Full-time, Days

About this job

The APP will assess patients, complete a history and physical and order any necessary follow up to ensure the patient is ready for anesthesia. APPs are responsible for following up on any tests that have been ordered and following patient care through until surgery is completed Schedule: M-F, days Orientation is 5 days/wk at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Once orientation ends (approximately 90days), move to 4x10s at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital and remote telehealth visits No nights/weekends/holidays/on-call Essential Functions: Demonstrates clinical expertise and expanded knowledge through patient care activities which may include diagnosis and management of a wide range of health problems.
