About this job
In this role you will work closely with the Manager, Environmental Health & Safety to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and Corporate standards for all operations at the Billerica Campus. This includes research laboratory operations (75%) with hazardous chemicals, radioactive materials, and biohazardous materials and facilities operations (25%). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Audit & Safety Committees: Manage the laboratory audit program to drive corrective actions, while leading the Chemical, Biological, and Institutional Biological Safety Committees. Training & Onboarding: Develop, update, and conduct annual laboratory safety refresher trainings, new employee and contractor health and safety orientations, and specialized program…
