ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Completes preventative maintenance to ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. May include, but not limited to, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, bowl feeders and production machines. Identifies sources of problems by observing machinery in operation, listening for problems, using testing equipment, analyzing test results, reviewing machine error messages, using information obtained from the operators, interpreting schematics and other methods. Examines parts for defects and removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, hand tools and power tools. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using rules, calipers, micrometers, voltmeters and other measuring devices.…
