About the role Anthropic’s mission is to ensure that the world safely makes the transition through transformative AI. Security is one of the clearest places where that mission plays out: the same capabilities that help attackers move faster can help defenders move faster too, and helping them use those capabilities safely and well is what this team is for. Security teams are among the earliest and most demanding users of frontier AI. They use Claude to review code at scale, find vulnerabilities before attackers do, and work through alert queues their analysts can’t keep up with. Anthropic’s Applied AI organization is building a dedicated Security team to help them do this well, and we are looking for its first leader. You will build this team from zero.…
