The Work LACCD is spending bond money to cut energy use and carbon across its nine college campuses: solar, battery storage, microgrids, electric vehicle charging, building controls, LED lighting, central plant upgrades, and electrification. The Sustainability Strike Team runs those projects. You are its electrical engineer: the licensed expert the project managers turn to when they need to know what the existing electrical system can handle, what a project will really take, and whether a design is right. You work under the Sustainability Strike Team Lead as a shared technical resource across the district, based at the District Office. You are not a project manager.…
