Position Information Job Title: Engineer - Transmission Location: Rochester, NY Salary Range: $87,600 - $109,500 Schedule: Office, 5 days Job Summary The Transmission Line Engineer is responsible for the design and support of high/medium/low-voltage transmission and distribution line projects across Avangrid Networks, with a strong focus on high/medium voltage transmission projects within NYSEG service territories as part of the Transmission Line Deficiency (TLD) Program. Key responsibilities include assisting in the development and review of engineering deliverables such as Plan & Profile drawings, structure drawings, and KMZ files; applying industry and utility standards (including RUS, Avangrid, and NESC) to ensure compliance; utilizing engineering tools such as AutoCAD,…
