Phoenix Processor LP is hiring for a Marine Engineer with QMED Rating for work on board the M/V Excellence. The M/V Excellence is an at sea fish processor that operates approximately 9 months per year at sea during 4 separate fisheries. Average rotation period is 60-90 days sharing work between port and time at sea. Essential functions include: As directed, routine maintenance of the propulsion, auxiliary and mechanical systems Maintain a working knowledge of company, ship and government safety policies and regulations Care, use and documentation of ship’s critical spare parts, inventory, consumables Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude Experience with electrical and refrigeration experience and certification is a plus Ability to work independently and as a team to…
