WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead and grow a team of mechanical sustainment engineers responsible for evaluating nonconforming mechanical hardware and determining engineering dispositions on fielded and in-production Group 5 air vehicles Hire, mentor, and develop engineers on the team, including establishing a path to MRB signature/delegated authority for team members Set technical standards and review complex or high-risk dispositions and repairs, acting as an escalation point for the most difficult nonconformances on mechanical subsystems, actuation, and structural-mechanical interfaces Own team workload and prioritization, ensuring dispositions and repairs are generated accurately and on schedule to keep production flowing Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain…
